Mercy Home for Boys & Girls
4th Floor Investments and its founder have been a proud supporter of the Mercy Home for Boys & Girls located in Chicago, IL since 1996. Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, a 501(c)(3), licensed child care institution and licensed child welfare agency, is a long-term residential home for troubled and hurting young men and women, ages 11 to 21. Their fourteen different homes offer each child the structure or independence to work through their problems and to achieve success. At the Mercy Home, they heal their children by giving them a safe home and helping them to realize their full potential. They give their children round-the-clock care and support, therapy, tutoring and mentoring. Through support and love, they spark their children's dreams and turn them into realities. Currently, there are more than 130 young men and women in our care on two campuses in Chicago. The Mercy Home is also a member of the Child Welfare League of America, the Child Care Association of Illinois, the American Association of Children's Residential Centers, the Illinois Association of Youth Care Workers and the National Catholic Development Conference. Mercy Home has been cited as an exemplary residential care agency in the State of Illinois by the Department of Children and Family Services licensing office. Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund
4th Floor Investments is a proud supporter of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a leader in supporting the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families. Begun in 2000 under the auspices of the Intrepid Museum Foundation, and established as an independent not-for-profit organization in 2003, the Fund has provided close to $60 million in support for the families of military personnel lost in service to our nation, and for severely wounded military personnel and veterans. These efforts are funded entirely with donations from the public, and hundreds of thousands of individuals have contributed to the Fund. 100% of contributions raised by the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund go towards these programs; all administrative expenses are underwritten by the Fund’s Trustees. Its membership is comprised of business brokers, M&A intermediaries, investment bankers, attorneys, accountants, banks, SBA lenders, valuation service providers, individual buyers, private equity groups and corporate buyers. The organization is committed to helping business owners confidentially sell their operations, as well as assist buyers in acquiring companies. 4th Floor Investments has been a proud supporter of the 20/30 Club of Chicago located in Chicago, IL. The 20/30 Club is a 501(c)(3) local nonprofit organization, recognized for providing positive role models and helping children in need. Since 1991 the 20/30 Club has made a difference in the lives of children in Chicagoland by pooling the collective talents of our members and volunteers. Their primary measures of success are hours volunteered and money raised for children's charities. They strive to improve the local community by developing long-term relationships with children's charity organizations that involve interactive volunteer projects and fundraising events.
