Before founding 4TH FLOOR INVESTMENTS in 2002, Mr. Varga was President of RIVERPOINT GROUP, Kansas, an IT division for THE L&D GROUP, a $150 million private holding firm. Preceding that, Mr. Varga maximized divisional sales growth & profitability as a Product Manager of LITTELFUSE products within the telecom industry. During the early 1990s, Mr. Varga led complex systems developments and business strategy programs for Global 500 corporations, covering multiple business sectors, segments and geographies. While managing growth of high-speed SMT manufacturing lines for $100 million+ growth markets, he led departments and multiplex projects, including international localization projects. Mr. Varga has worked with high-tech global firms including SIEMENS, PANASONIC, and SPEEDFAM CO, LTD.

Mr. Varga is a graduate from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and a Lambda Chi Alpha Alumnus. He’s been a former board member for the 2030 Club of Chicago, a non-for-profit group focused on volunteering and fundraising efforts for Chicago's Mercy Home for Boys and Girls. Mr. Varga is articulate in Hungarian.
